Kevin's Top 3 Bars in LA: Where Ink Meets Cocktails

Hey there, folks! I'm Kevin, the resident tattoo artist at SixtyInk LA. While I'm known for my mastery of anime tattoos and blackwork, I also have a knack for discovering the best watering holes in Los Angeles. So, let's dive into my top 3 bar picks in the city, where ink meets cocktails.

**3rd Place: Son of a Gun in front of SixtyInk LA**

Landing in third place is Son of a Gun, conveniently located just across the street from SixtyInk LA. It's not just a fantastic spot for seafood; it's also where you'll find some of the best cocktails mixed by our talented friends. Be sure to swing by between 3 PM and 5:30 PM for the golden hour vibe – perfect for hanging out with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is unreal. I can't recommend their chicken sandwich enough. It's a must-try.

**2nd Place: Semi Tropic in Echo Park**

In second place, we have Semi Tropic, tucked away in the heart of Echo Park. This bar offers a unique setting and a killer playlist that sets the mood just right. The staff is superb, making you feel right at home. Don't leave without trying the "Cowboy Killer" cocktail. Afterward, share your thoughts in the comments below!

**1st Place: Bar Henry - Where the Vibe is Everything**

And now, for the ultimate experience, my number one pick – Bar Henry, also located in Echo Park. This place has an undeniable vibe that keeps drawing me in. Whether it's a date night or a night out with friends, Bar Henry never disappoints. As a tattoo artist, I appreciate the artistry of their cocktails, and they truly take you on a journey with every sip. While it's not Harry Potter-inspired, it has a unique and captivating atmosphere that's all its own.

So, there you have it – my top 3 favorite bars in LA, all within arm's reach of SixtyInk LA. Each offers a distinctive experience, from delicious seafood and cocktails to a mood that's simply unbeatable. Next time you're in the area, make sure to check them out, and let's raise a glass to great tattoos and even better drinks. Cheers! 🍻
